The Department was established in 1976. The institution blossomed into one of the best ten institutions in management in the country during that period. Presently, the MBA programme is rated to be the best amongst all the universities in Karnataka. KIMS has got a strong alumni network who have occupied positions in many top–notch companies both within the country and abroad. KIMS has developed a special niche for itself in the field of imparting quality management education.
